The Boli Standards Proposals.

The Boli Foundation designs the Boli Standards Proposals — the open specifications for tokenized assets, compliance, multi-VM mirroring, and agentic operations. The BSPs are open source under CC BY 4.0. Anyone can read, implement, fork, or build against them, including the Boli Platform.

  • BSP-0001
    Stable

    Pattern A · Tradeable

The tradeable asset pattern — Daml templates for securities, funds, sukuk, real-estate share classes, and other instruments that settle on Canton with Splice Token Standard V1 compatibility.

  • BSP-0002
    Stable

    Pattern B · Registry-Mirror

The registry-mirror pattern — for sovereign registries (land, vehicles, IP), environmental credits, and other assets where an off-chain registry remains authoritative and Canton mirrors the state.

  • BSP-0003
    Draft

    Pattern C · Credential

The credential pattern — W3C Verifiable Credentials anchored on Canton via TDIP, for identity attestations, KYC/AML attestations, accreditation, and qualification claims.

  • BSP-0004
    Draft

    Compliance packs

The compliance-pack engine specification — chain-level enforcement of jurisdictional rules, transfer restrictions, eligibility checks, and ongoing monitoring. Reference packs for MiCA, VARA, and Reg D.

  • BSP-0005
    Draft

    Multi-VM mirroring

Specification for emitting EVM (ERC-3643 family) and SVM (SPL Token-2022) mirrors from Canton-canonical assets, with atomic settlement guarantees and lifecycle propagation.

  • BSP-0006
    Pre-draft

    Agentic operations

Specification for agentic asset operations under DID-bound, on-chain mandates: NAV reconciliation, MRV verification, compliance monitoring, redemption orchestration.

How the standards are made

The Foundation is the design home for the BSPs. Specification work runs in the open against the public repository. Drafts arrive as pull requests; contributions from the wider ecosystem are welcomed and reviewed on technical merit.

The BSPs are open source. The Boli Platform implements against them on the same terms as anyone else — there is no privileged access and no editorial gate that favors the Platform. The Boli Association, separately, conducts open research that may inform a BSP but does not author or edit them; research and standards are kept structurally distinct.
